PARENT and ME COOKING CLASSES
Our Parent and Me cooking classes are an opportunity for kids (ages 8-12) and their grown up to learn together in the kitchen. In these classes we introduce challenging culinary skills to you and your emerging chef in a kid-friendly environment. We can also turn these into birthday events! Just fill out an inquiry form on our Private Group Classes page.
Kids older than 12 are welcome to join any of our class offerings provided they are accompanied by an enrolled adult. And don't forget to check out our Summer Camps aimed at ages 8 to 17!
PARENT and ME: BAKING BASICS
This is a 'kid-sized' version of our very popular Baking Basics: Scones, Muffins, and Coffee Cake class. Designed for the beginner, we will start with a quick overview of kitchen safety and then cover the essentials of measuring, weighing, mixing, and of course, cracking those eggs. Best part is you get to enjoy some tasty treats at the end! Registration is $35/student.
PARENT and ME: DIM SUM
This is one of our more challenging classes, but it also comes with some tasty rewards! We will start with basic kitchen safety and move onto a menu of steamed dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, and baked pork buns. This class introduces a wide range of Asian cooking techniques and tools to you and your up-and-coming chefs. Registration is $40 per student:
PARENT and ME: PASTA
In this all-time class favorite, we start with mixing the dough then rolling and cutting it, making a range of noodle types. You will make a variety of fillings that you can mix and match to create your own signature ravioli! Registration is $35 as student.
